The 2nd National Self-Advocacy Conference was held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2007, organised by Kangaroo Club. About 90 people participated in this event.

The 3rd National Self-Advocacy Conference was held in Penang in 2009. About 80 self-advocates, supporting friends and observers participated in this event. It was organised by Mutiara Voice Club with support from Asia Community Service.
